Back to work. Blah... the world would be a great place if we didn't have to work.
Don't get me wrong...I love the kids and all and I like to teach.
Maybe it's just February.
So I get this knock on the door this afternoon.
It's this mother from down the road.
She asks me where Ashlee's mother is.
I tell her that her mother is at Purdue, but I'm here.
I don't think she got it.
She is kind of hillbilly-ish.
She tells me that my daughter is calling her son special ed.
She stand by her "do no wrong son" and wants to talk to her mother.
I told her that she will think her son does no wrong and I will think my daughter does no wrong.
Hmmm...then why is Ashlee coming home from school crying her eyes out?
Why does her son pretend to throw shit at our car when we drive down the street.
Why does her son say stuff about her mother that I wouldn't even want to hear in a rated R movie?
Sure Ashlee has a mouth on her, but she would never be that disrespectful.
Middleschoolers will be middleschoolers.
How do you stop the harrassment when you can't be with them 24 hours a day?
You can only raise them right and hope they learn and go into the world as respectful human beings.
