Summer Where Are You?

I called all the T-ball parents.
It should be fun.
I'm worried about the parents though.
I'm worried the boys will make fun of me because I'm a girl.
Eh...it's T-ball.

I've ripped all of my contacts.
I've had to resort to wearing my glasses from 1994.
I can't wait until my eye exam on Friday.

I was filling out my calendar today.
Holy crud are we busy.
We haven't even gotten calls from the soccer coaches yet.
I can't wait until summer.
Again...don't get me wrong.
I love teaching and the kids and all.
But I do love just being a mom and hanging out.

Rosie O'Donnell was talking on her blog about money and junk.
I chuckled at the line that said they offered her $50 million to stay on her show.
I would have been like...ok...where's the stage?
But I totally admire her for leaving, stepping out of the lime light, and just being.
Being a mom, an artist, an activist, a wife...and so much more.
You know I always wanted to meet her.
Then when she was standing right in front of me I clammed up.
I had no words. I was in awe.
She was such a Joe Schmoe. I loved it.

This dog keeps barking in my ear.
I guess I better let him in or kill him.
I can't stand dogs....sorry Tammy.
