Yesterday I was walking down the hall
Down to the teacher's lounge for lunch actually.
Our library has two big display cases out there
And our librarian has done an awesome job with them this year.
Right now he has one covered with Black History information.
The other has historical election stuff...pins, posters, etc.
He has a whole collection of stuff from John F. Kennedy.
One poster reads, "Vote for Kennedy" and his picture is underneath.
As I walked down the hall past the display
A boy walking in the opposite direction says to his friend,
"Vote for Kennedy? Didn't that guy die?"
Are you serious?
Are these kids living under a rock?
He actually thought that Kennedy was in this year's election.
Can someone tell me why teachers can't smack them upside the head?
