Ashlee's Big Day!

Holy cow it has been a long time since I've had time to blog.
So much to talk about.
Let me break it all down.

Ashlee Turned 16!

Omg...kill me now.
Ashlee is 16.
Almost ready to drive.
Two years away from college.
Five years away from going to the club with us.
LOL!
She is such a hoot.
Becoming such a great young lady
With an awesome sense of humor and confidence.
I soooo enjoy this kid!



We just got back from celebrating her birthday.
We got some hotel rooms in Naperville, IL
And the kids swam and went to a club called Zero Gravity.
Now...a lot of people were worried about them going to this club.
There are a couple of things I have to say about this.


They went in a group of six.
Six very fun and well behaved girls...and Billy.
They know right from wrong.
They know how to have fun without doing stupid things.
I believe we have taught these kids well.
And we trust them.
Parents have to have a little trust now and then.
And sometimes they will make you proud.
They have to learn how to take care of themselves now
Or they will be screwed when they are on their own in college.


They had a great time!
They swam, got dressed up, ate pizza, danced, drank coffee
And stayed up until 6 a.m. and woke up at 7 to get breakfast.
