I'm In Labor!

Hey guess what everyone?!?!
I'm in pre-labor!!!
I have been having contractions all day long.
This morning they were 5 minutes apart and not too bad.
By 3:30 they were 2 minutes apart and the pain was about a 3/10.
I called the doctor and she said to take a bath and relax.
When I can't talk through the pain...come in.
So...I'm heading to the bath tub.
Wish me luck!
Little nugget is on her way!

Oh yeah...I went to see Rosie again this morning in Skokie.
I have tons of pictures, but I'll talk about that later.
I'm so behind on my blogging.

It's June

I have to say I freaked out just a tad this morning.
I realized that today is June 1st.
Which means
That in the next 30 days
I am going to have a baby.

Breathe.

Am I ready?
Can you ever really be ready?

My mom for the crib and Melissa for the dresser and Tammy for the bedding.
And all my school buds for the rest of the room decor stuff.
It all looks soooo great all put together!
It's not totally done yet.

I still have to fill up the dresser with all the cute clothes!
But...if she fell out tomorrow, at least she has somewhere to sleep.
I can't wait to see her in that little crib.
NOW I am excited.

Doctor Update

Went to the Doctor today.
I missed my appointment last Monday.
And then again last Friday.
But I got there extra early today!

My weight...181.2.
She was very proud of me for this.
I have no idea how I've gained
When I haven't been eating much this week due to stress.

Blood pressure was normal.
Again, I laugh because I have been stressed out of my mind lately.

Baby's heartbeat... in the 130's.
She said it sounded good.

My belly measurement...34...perfect.
34 weeks.
She says I'm due July 1st.
I thought it was June 24th.
Whatever...she'll come when she's ready.
She'll probably be ready before I am anyway.

I have to drink some raspberry tea or something now.
And take some other healthy pill junk.
She said to make my cervex softer.
Hey...whatever works lady.

Right now I'm an emotional wreck.
Horomoes are all over the place.
I cry all the time.
Sleeping is horrible.
My anxiety is at new heights.
I'm exhausted, yet I keep going.

There is no stopping.
Not until June 7th.
Not until the last final is graded.
Not until the walls are knocked down in my classroom.

And I eat pizza after the graduation ceremony.

Baby Shower!

Yesterday was our baby shower!

My mom and sister threw it for us.

It was at the Performing Arts Center in Munster.

Everything was pink and brown to match our colors!

About 54 people came out to support us.

It was so great to see everyone!

We got so many nice presents.

My favorites were the Royal Potty chair that plays music

The Ocean World aquarium

All of the bedroom stuff from my buddies at work

And the "How to take care of a kid" instruction book from Julie's husband.

It's the funniest book I've ever seen.

We ate chicken salad and fruit and soup and ice cream and other goodies.

I really, really, really wanted the spiked punch but my Mom wouldn't let me.

Now everything is sitting in my living room.

The room is now in progress...the primer is up and masking tape is on.

The Mexican Lesbian Posse is here to help paint.

Melissa is constructing the dresser.

Things are moving along.

According to my calendar...only 35 more days.

Even though to doctor said I was due on July 1st today.

Make up your mind lady.

I just want to thank my Mom and Julie for all of their hard work on the beautiful shower.

Everything looked so beautiful and everyone had a great time.

I really appreciate everyone's love and support in this journey.

My Mom really knows how to throw a party.

Doctor Appointment Update

Went to the Doctor again today.
I was out in 15 minutes.
Weigh....177 lbs. (I've gained 8 lbs total according to her!)
Pee...looked good.
Blood Pressure...forgot the numbers, but it was good.
Measure the Belly...30 inches.
Heartbeat...168...she was a little excited this afternoon.
Questions...Asked about sleeping on my back and how bad it is.
Next Appointment...May 12.
Done.

Only 9 more weeks.
Sarah made me a paper chain at work.
57 days...give or take a few.
My kids are throwing me a baby shower on Friday in SRT.
That means FOOD!

How You Know You're REALLY Pregnant

Senior Banquet was tonight.
It was a big hit.
$180 for the DJ was scary, but he was good.
Food was good and the costumes were creative.
Thanks to all of my friends for sacraficing their Friday night
To chaperone and hang out with 400 seniors.

I have to say that Sarah and I can throw a kick ass party.

The dance ended at 11 p.m.
After dropping Sarah off at home I decided I was hungry.
Out of all of the fast food places I pass by on the way home
I couldn't say...Hey...that sounds good.
No.
I wanted Fruity Pebbles and I wanted them right then and there.
So, I stopped at Meijer at 11:45 p.m.
Picked up some Fruity Pebbles, Rice Krispy Treats cereal and Captain Crunchberries.
Oh...and some grapes which are in the freezer right now.

Usually after an event like this where I'm in charge
We go out for a drink to relax and celebrate that it's over!
Tonight...I sat on the couch and ate Fruity Pebbles.
And they were damn good.

29 Weeks Pregnant...aka 7 Months and 1 Week

Yes!

I finally have a belly again!

I know...weird to say.

But it's exciting to have a belly for a reason this time.

I can't believe in almost 2 months we will have another child!

It's getting exciting.

I can feel her all the time

Rolling and kicking and punching.

Tammy and I like to play games with her in there.

She'll talk to her and she'll punch back.

Last night I had a dream that her foot came through my stomach.

I grabbed it and her right foot had 11 toes

And two of them were webbed like Ashlee's.

It was a creepy dream!

This morning I weighed 170.6.

Yes! I have officially gained .6 pounds during this pregnancy!

I go back to the doctor tomorrow night.

New 3D Ultrasound Pictures

We went for another 3D ultrasound today!
I'm a photo teacher for pete's sake.
I have to have pictures!
Here is the little sweetheart sleeping.
She was all snuggled up against the wall.
Nice and cozy.
Her cheeks are a little chubbier.
She even gave us a thumbs up.
I guess she's ready to come out and meet us.
It was almost like she was saying...everything's going to be ok.
She also gave us the number 1 sign.
She has long fingers and a cute nose.
I can't wait to see her!!
Only 12 more weeks.

Doctor Visit

Had a doctor appointment today after school.
It was the appointment that was supposed to take an hour
Because I had to do the diabetes test.

My friends have been telling me nightmare stories about this.
It's like drinking a bottle of sugar.
It's gross.
You are going to get sick.

Great.
Me...Miss...I couldn't even eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Without getting sick today at lunch.
I mean...I can eat sugar these days
But I can't DOWN sugar.
Slowly...yes.

I got to the doctor and told them my fears.
They took me back and said forget it...don't drink it.
Thank the goddess!
They drew my blood instead
And said it would measure my sugar from the past three months.

Heartbeat...152.
The belly is growing...I know she measured it...forgot to ask what it said.
My weight...whatever.
I'm eating like a cow
Grazing all day long
I swear I'm eating pretty healthy.
I just can't shove down a whole plate of food at once.
I'm slow.

I feel very healthy...
Only one head cold this winter.
And I'm taking all of my vitamins.

I now have to see the doctor every 2 weeks.
That means it's getting close!!!!!!

The shower is May 18.
I finally finished registering at
Target, Babies R Us and Baby Depot.
And I found a cool website through my flickr buddies...

Right now she is bouncing up and down on my bladder...
So, I gotta go!!!!

26 Weeks Pregnant

Ok so these aren't the same shorts.

I couldn't find them.

Don't you love my three rolls?

Ugh.

Top roll: boobs.

Middle roll: guts.

Bottom roll: baby.

Weight this Sunday: 168.2.

This morning I played a poking game with her.

I poked various parts of my belly

And she poked me back wherever I poked.

It was kinda cute!

Next appointment: April 1.

23 Weeks Pregnant

Do I look any bigger NOW????

I think I do.

My stomach is getting pudgier I swear.

The scale...164...whatever.

23 weeks now.

It's going fast.

Tammy and I went browsing around again today

Looking for baby stuff.

I think we decided on where to register.

Babies R Us, Target and Burlington Coat Factory.

Who know Burlington had so much baby crap?

We actually agree on the bedding, pack n play and stroller!

We originally liked some purple stuff, but now we like pink and brown!

With lady bugs! Too cute.

Doctor appointment tomorrwo after school!

21 Weeks

Ok, ok so the side shot is blurry.

I will try to do better next time.

21 weeks down and 19 to go.

Holy crap.

There will be another person in this house in 19 weeks!

Ahh!

I'm feeling good.

Except for my run-ins with Raisen Bran cereal.

It sounds good, but every time I eat it I get sick.

Tammy tells me to stop eating it...but I never listen.

Of course she is always right!

I feel like I'm eating all the time...

Way more than I was eating in December.

Yet...I still weigh 162.

Whatever.

I'm sure in the next couple of weeks

My belly will grow.

And the numbers will rise.

The Little Nugget Is!....

A GIRL!!!!!!

She is kneeing herself in the face here. Nice thigh and leg though!

Tammy and I started the morning off with breakfast at the Olive Cafe.

I knew I had to eat stuff that would make it move.

I had eggs, french toast, bacon, sausage and a little coffee to get her going.

Our appointment at Premiere Ultrasound was for 11:30.

We had a half hour session for gender determination.

We weren't supposed to have the 3D pictures, but the technician did it anyway!

He got the money shot this time and we found out we are having a GIRL!!!

Another girl in the house!

I'm so excited!

With a girl...she can be a girlie girl or a tomboy and it's ok.

She can be cute and sweet, but she can also be tough and bold.

BJ and Ashlee couldn't believe that we are having another girl in the house.

BJ asked right away if we could have another one or adopt a boy.

Leslee's reaction was..."Cool."

We have pictures and a DVD of the ultrasound and we are going back in April.

We invited my mom out to see the pictures, get pedicures and have dinner.

She's so excited too!

It was a great day and now I feel so much more comfortable.

No guessing and now I know what I can register for!

19 Weeks Pregnant

19 weeks pregnant and it looks like nothing.

I do weigh a little more this week...164.8 today.

I'm going to see the real doctor tomorrow afternoon.

Still taking my vitamins and trying to eat healthy.

I can't wear my contacts anymore.

I can't see a thing!

So, the glasses are going to have to do for awhile.

It's A.....!!!???

Stubborn child!!!

It wouldn't flip around and spread it's legs!

It's all cruched up in a ball and it's breech right now.

Just sitting straight up like it's hugging me.

Just bouncing up and down on my bladder like a trampoline.

Dang kid!

The nurse said it is looking good.

The heartbeat was 143 per minute.

I go to see the actual doctor on Monday afternoon.

So, I will keep everyone posted.

We are thinking about getting a 3D ultrasound in April.

Maybe it will tell us then what gender it is!

17 Weeks Pregnant

Now I don't know if I'm getting fatter or it's my shirt.

Let's just say I'm getting fatter.

I haven't weighed myself in a while.

The last time I checked I was 162.8.

I have determined that I can feel the nugget.

It really isn't gas.

16 Weeks Pregnant

Here are my 16 weeks pictures.

I don't think there's much difference.

Tammy says I'm poofier in my upper belly.

My appetite is definitely back.

My mom yelled at me for being addicted to pretzels.

Gummy bears are another favorite snack.

I feel like I'm eating all day long again.

But that's what I have to do since I can't eat like a cow at one sitting.

My weight was 161.2 this morning.

Holding steady.

I can't feel it yet, but sometimes I think I do...

And then it's just gas!
