Family Portrait Night

I love four day weekends. You can't beat them.
We woke up today at 10. I love it.

Last night we went to the mall and took our family pictures.
All the girls were in khaki pants, black shoes, white tank tops and pink shirts over that.
BJ was in khaki pants and a purple shirt and tie.
We looked adorable.

Taking a family picture always gives me the jitters.
I loved it when the photographer asked whose children they were.
Duh! They are both of ours!
Her reaction was...raised eyebrows and an "Oh...ok!

The store is surrounded by glass windows so the shoppers can look in and see the cute kids taking their portraits.
I loved the look on the older couple's faces when my partner and I took a picture together.
My arms were around hers and it just felt so right.
The kids looked on with smiles and think nothing of it.
I love it.

Afterwards we went to the food court where BJ (4-year-old) proceeded to eat ten pounds of Chinese Food.

As soon as I scan the photos in I will post them for all to see.
Not that anyone is really reading this blog anyway.
Oh well.
It gives me room to think and vent.
