What are people thinking?

I'm a high school teacher.
Will someone please tell me what in heaven's name are teenagers...
wait...
the youth of America...
wait....no....
human beings thinking today?
Are there any decent people out there?

Example 1
Leslee is 8.
She is only allowed ONE best friend according to the "playground code" at school.
I guess some pompous second grader is in charge of all the rules.
What the hell do they know about friends and why didn't I get a copy of the friends rulebook?

Example 2
BJ is in preschool.
No one will be his friend.
Even after they read the story about the mice being friends...
He was still crying for a friend.
HE'S FOUR!!!!

Example 3
Teenagers having sex in school.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?
You shouldn't be doing it in the first place!
I seriously want to know what in the heck was going through their minds.
What in god's name made them think what they were doing was ok?

Teenagers getting into huge fights and killing others.
Why?
Why?
Why?

Example 5
Liars.
Why do people lie?
All it does is make others go insane and it makes you lose credibility.
Own up to your own actions and take responsibility for yourself.

These are just 5 reasons why my head hurts today.
It's February.
It's gray and rainy outside.
It's cold.
I'm beginning not to like February.
