Sleeping Pill Extraordinaire

I've been having trouble sleeping lately.
I just keep waking up in the middle of the night.

Every night.

Before I fall asleep at night
I shake
Not like a seizure shake.
More like a reaction to something shake.

Usually it's because I'm dreaming about something
And I'm reacting to my dream.
The other night I was playing air hockey
So my right arm kept moving.

My doctor gave me a perscription for sleeping pills.
He said it should help me sleep better.
I picked the pills up yesterday.
It said to take a half of one or one full one right before bed.

At 8:30 I decided to take one.
They are so tiny.
I sat down on the couch next to Tammy who was doing homework.
I said, "I just took a pill. We'll see if they work."
About three minutes later I said,
"Those pills are so tiny, I don't know how they......"

I was out like a LIGHT!
GONE!
I didn't even finish my sentence!

Tammy said that I sat up on the couch
With my hands clasped behind my head
For twenty minutes
And slept.

Ashlee came downstairs
And thought I was dead.
She said my face was droopy.
She poked me in the face and I didn't move.

Tammy started playing with my mind.
She thought it would be fun.
She asked me if I loved her and I said Yes.
She asked me if I knew how much she loved me
And I said, "I don't know."
She asked again and I replied, "I don't know."
Then she asked me,
"Do you even know who I am?"
And I replied,
"Yeah...you're Rhonda."

Keep in mind that Rhonda is the girl I work with.
Boy was I in trouble this morning!

Finally I woke up and Tammy had to help me downstairs.
Funny thing is...I have no memory of ANY of this!
Nothing!
I remeber talking about how I didn't think the pill was going to work
And that was it.

I slept like a baby last night.
I can't wait to take another pill tonight!
