Helping Mommy

One day this summer I needed to do some yard work.
I needed to cut the grass, but Tristyn was up and around.
So, I decided to pull some weeds first.
I grabbed the one garden glove I could find
And started pulling weeds in the front yard.
Of course, Tristyn followed me outside like a little shadow.
After a while she ran into the house.
Melissa and Aunt Barb were inside and asked her what she was doing.
She said, "Helping Mommy!"
And ran outside with my oven mitts.
When she came back she asked me for help.
I put the oven mitts on her hands and she started pulling weeds.
She wanted to be just like Mommy.
