Talk about a snowy weekend!

Sunday, Tristyn and I ventured out early to see Santa.

We went to the Highland Visitors Center.

She had a great time and didn't want to leave!

We looked at all of the "Christmas Story" displays

And she colored about 4 pictures and mailed them to Santa.

She was a little apprehensive about the big guy at first

And then he gave her a candy cane and she was fine.

He guessed that she wanted a doll for Christmas and she was excited!

The best part was sliding down the slide!

Yesterday we had a snow day!!!

The roads were crazy and thank goodness I didn't have to drive to work.

I never would have made it there.

Tristyn and I snuggled all morning!

We went through all of her toys in the living room.

We watched a lot of Little House on the Prairie.

Aunt Barb made meatloaf for dinner.

And I eventually ventured out to shovel.
